| The News Trader
(TNT) software is designed to continuously scan the most important stock
related newswires and identify stock prices that are reacting to the
news. The newswires are checked every 60 seconds for new stories. Once
a stock has reacted to the news by increasing or decreasing in price
by 3% or more from the time the story first broke, TNT will follow the
price using a trailing stop of 3% below the highest price on long trades
or 3% above the lowest price on short trades.
The Keyword version
of TNT scans all news stories for a list of words that have been proven
to preceed a sharp rise the the stock.
The Headline Scanner
version of TNT will look for stories that mention stocks and grab the
headline of those stores. You can view the whole story by clicking on
the headline. Since no price information is gathered, we are able to
repeat this process every 15 seconds. This is absolutely the fastest
method of getting in on stocks that is available.
